Pipe Tobacco

Pipe Tobacco

Pipe smokers choose from two major types of Tobacco. Aromatic & Non-Aromatic.

Aromatic tobacco blends are those featuring a layer of flavor, such as whiskey, maple, caramel, vanilla and even chocolate. Non-aromatic pipe tobacco may also offer a hint of flavor, but it’s usually very subtle. In both cases the flavors are added to the leaves. Coarse cut as it is called the pipe tobacco is thicker strands, from as big as 1/8 inch down to 1/16 inch. Lesser than chewing tobacco, the moisture when compared to cigarette tobacco is higher. Pipe tobacco primarily originates from Virginia, Kentucky, North Carolina, Louisiana and Tennessee.
